About the event
Newport Music Club are thrilled to welcome Trio Archai. Ayla Sahin (violin), Finn Mannion (‘cello) and Mar Valor (piano) met at the Musik Akademie Basel, where they study as a trio with Claudio Martinez Mehner, Rainer Schmidt, Anna Gebert, and Anton Kernjak. The trio won both First Prize and Beethoven Prize at the Schoenfeld International String Competition 2025 in China, and First Prize at the 72nd Royal OverSeas League Competition 2024 in London.
Trio Archai’s performance is kindly supported by Making Music’s Philip & Dorothy Green Young Artists scheme.
