Jarualda Quartet

Our 2026 season begins with the Jarualda Quartet, formed during the Covid semi-lockdown in 2021 when four of Shropshire's finest professional musicians got together and enjoyed playing so much they decided to form a string quartet and perform in public.
​​
The Jarualda Quartet takes its name from the artists:
Jane Park (viola)
Ruth Henley ('cello)
Alex Postlethwaite (violin)
David Joyce (violin)
​
Their programme will include works by Haydn, Beethoven, Shostakovich and Paul Henley (Ruth's husband).
